After some much needed rest. And a long Saturday night. Teams started pulling into Gulf Coast Speedway to try again for night number 2. 21 Winged 600's and 6 Restrictor's checked in for Sundays Tommy Wilson Memorial. The track gave the drivers something totally different then Saturday night. On this Sunday, they would try to tighten up cars as the track was great . But a little slick. Night one of the Tommy Wilson Memorial at Gulf Coast Speedway is now in the books. 23 WInged 600's and 7 Restrictor's checked in to compete with the Lonestar 600's presented by K&K Earthworks. Teams were challenged with trying to unhook there cars at Gulf Coast gave drivers something they haven't seen in a while. The track was challenging. After a 2 week break we are back at it. The Lonestar 600's presented by K & K Earthwork will be taking to the track once again. This weekend we will be racing at Gulf Coast Speedway Sat May 27th and Sun May 28th. Racing will be the Winged 600's and Restrictor's. Saturday will be the normal Gulf Coast Speedway payout $300 to win and Sunday it will be $500 to win. Top 4 from Sat will lock into the A-main for Sun. Then the top 4 from Sun in passing points will make up the Top 8 for the Pole...more

It was a sad day when Bronco Raceway Park closed its doors. As one of the main Lonestar 600's tracks it hurt. This place was know for fast side by side racing, 3 wide and still tacky at the end of the night. Cheap night of racing as kids got in free, cheap pit passes, good payouts. Trailers started to fill the pits at Gator Motorplex for the 6th Annual Nolan Wren Memorial early. With Hot Laps at 3pm most would know the pits would fill up fast with the 3 open wheel series' racing on this early day. The Lonestar 600's presented by K&K Earthworks set to take on a new track. For the first time the Lonestar 600's will be going to I-37 Speedway. It is awesome to be able to take our growing series to a new market with such a great facility. This is I-37 Speedway's first year to be open after being closed for several years. Breaking News. We were contacted by Boothill Speedway officials to inform us they had to cancel our show at there track. Due to the promoters changing and the lack of details swapped between old and new our show was double booked with the SUPR series. The Boothill officials decided it was best they canceled our show.
