About Robert

Wikked Racing Team (WRT) was formed in 2008 and started racing Hobby Stock cars made with your everyday classic cars such as the Cutlass and Monte' Carlos that are metric bodies. I raced up till 2013, while racing I was racing in the top 15 at any race. I have placed in 11,13,15th places when there are usually 25 cars in a feature race.
In 2010 I came across another car from a well known racer. The #2H was known for being up front so he bought it. Raced it a few times then re-skinned the car with a new look. Finances were not very well and had to sell the car and took a break from racing to regain the ability to be back out at the track again, which is every racers nightmare, to not be on the circuit racing with racing buddies.
In 2014 I invested in some Oval Dirt Racing Go Karts to try a cheaper way of racing til he could get back out to the bigger and better racing. But, never hit off because there was only one track and that was over 3 hours away from his home town. I did manage to make a Go Kart track in my back yard so that I wouldn't have to worry about getting to the track to race or not. Plus its good for the off season to keep my driving skills up and in tune til the racing season stared back up.
So, begging his neighbor about tilling up the ground for him to build a track, his neighbor finally gave in to do it. To the right is a gallery of photos of the process. I was now on the road to every little kids dream that wanted to race, is now in my backyard. I wanted something for the neighbor hood kids to do to stay out of trouble but was skeptical of it because of legal issues and people getting hurt. But did have some kids and neighbors have some fun. One even ran into the bushes but was OK he had a helmet on as informed to them before they could ride for safe issues.
I love racing. Ever since I first saw dirt track race, ever since I've been hooked. There is a racers quote.

" Once you get hooked you have racing in the veins"

or as NASCAR Dick Trickle says....

" Racing is in my blood, I cant quite get it out yet. "

The Neighborhood kids and I had fun on the Go Karts but I wanted back out on the racing circuit. I came across an ad on the popular website Facebook that everyone is on. A kid had a Mini Sprint for sale or trade for Racing Karts. So, I message the kid to offer him the Go Karts in trade for the Mini Sprint. I messaged him to meet to trade. Now, take in consideration that the mini sprints are a whole different ball game then the full sized metric cars. Looks fast with the sleek look. Well, let me tell ya...It's a car on full time adrenaline.
I raced it one time an flipped it. I have not been back to the track since. I am working on getting a newer care put together.
