Labor Day Spectacular Recap

What a weekend of fun filled racing. Has a blast and we hope everyone else did as well. Friday night took the driver of the Lonestar 600's up Interstate 35 to Heart o' Texas Speedway to battle with the drivers of TOWR for the 2nd Annual Glen Stubblefield Memorial. 30 Winged 600's and 13 Restrictor's were in attendance. Battleground Speedway Weekend Power Glitch

Well to say the least we had a decent racetrack to race on but when the sun went down the lights did not come on. The track worked diligently to get them to come on but due to a bad breaker the race was canceled due to safety concerns. Thank you to all the drivers that were in attendance and showing the support for the Lonestar 600's. Double Header Race Recap

Friday night we were overpowered by mother nature and rain got the best of us. Golden Triangle Raceway Park was canceled. Saturday Night lead us down Hwy 35 to Gulf Coast Speedway. Double Header Weekend

The Lonestar 600's are up for a double header weekend. First up is Friday night in Beaumont racing on the very fast and tricky Black Gumbo 1/4 mile Golden Triangle Raceway Park. So far this year every time we have been scheduled to go there we have been plagued by mother nature. Lets hope we get this race in. All we can say is wow what a night. The Lonestar 600's drew a great car count and put on one heck of a show. We had 4 Jr Sprint's, 7 Restrictor's, and 28 600's. In the feature for the Jr. Sprints Timothy Watson took the lead from the start and never looked back lead it all. On the last lap diving into turn one Kayden Dirks took a stab at trying to get by and did not make it happen. These little ones put on a great show. Saturday 8/15 the Lonestar 600's will cruise back to Bronco Raceway Park after a 2 week break. Hopefully all drivers have had a chance to get there cars fixed and back into shape. We will be hosting Non Wing 600's, Restrictor's and Jr. Sprint's. Our points battle has gotten quite close, In the 600's Hunter Gengo leads Brandon Schnautz by 13 points. 7/25 Gulf Coast Speedway's night in recap.

7/25 Took us to the Fastest Little Track in Texas. The night drew 6 Restrictor's and 16 600's. It started of with a dust filled set of hot lap sending most teams scrambling to get the cars changed in time for the first set of heat races. The Restrictor's were up for with the win taken by 3B Trey Burke. Up next was the 600's Heat #1 won by 20 Brandon Schnautz. Heat #2 won by 93 Raleigh Shepherd. Congrats to Sat nights Bronco Raceway Park winners. Non Wing 600's for the first time this year Blake Moeller, Restrictor's Isaiah Garcia, and Jr Sprint's Christopher Townsend.
