Friday night we were overpowered by mother nature and rain got the best of us. Golden Triangle Raceway Park was canceled. Saturday Night lead us down Hwy 35 to Gulf Coast Speedway. After waiting most of the day to see if we were going to get to race due to the imposing weather in the area Gulf Coast Speedway officials made the call and said lets go racing. We arrived at the track to a very good looking race track. After hot laps drivers started working on getting the cars hooked up as the track was very dry. But oh would they be fighting to find the right setup as the night went on. The track flipped from being dry to being super tacky as the moisture decided to show its face soon after a few heat races. After watching the teams struggle in both sets of heats to unhook there cars. The features would turn out to be some good racing. Congrats to Trey Burke on his restrictor win and Aaron Barmore on his Turn 4 pass for the win.
