The Lonestar 600's would pull into the pit gates at Gator Motorplex for the Final Race of the 2016. There would be an astonishing 40 Non Wings unloading the cars and turning the wrenchs to claim stake in the $1000 to Win Halloween Havoc. 4 Restrictor's and 4 Jr Sprint's would also be there to claim there fame as well. First out for the feature was the Restrictor's. Maverick Elkins would set the pace for the green flag. It would wave and we would go green to checkers. Maverick would take the lead and stay In front the whole race. Next out would be the Jr Sprint's. CJ Jones would parade around the track as they got lined up. The green would drop and CJ Jones would drop the hammer. He would lead his teammate Hunter Dimmer around the track all 12 laps and CJ Jones would put his 76HD in victory lane. Up last would be the main event of the evening. We would sort out the first 16 cars in the feature via passing points from there heats. The next 8 would come from the top 4 from a pair of B-Mains. That would be how they got lined up for the A-Main. Steven Padgett and John McAfee would be the front row. Steven would get the green flag and lead the first complete lap. The green flag run would be short lived as Casey Burkham would find himself parked in the middle of turn 2 facing the wrong way. The caution flag would wave and cars would slow. Some faster then others and Tyler Harris would hit the back stretch wall and take a wild ride flioping several times. We would get the field lined back up single file. Steven would take the green once more. There would be a few more cautions. One noticeable caution would Kevin Battarbee getting hit and turning him straight for the outside wall. He would hit it head on. The red would fly. Steven and John McAfee would battle it out the rest of the night. John tried all his tricks to get around Steven but just couldn't find the right one as Steven would hold the lead the entire night. Steven would claim his first win in a micro.

The Lonestar 600's crew would like to thank all the Drivers, Crew Members, friends, and family for making 2016 a huge success. The 2016 season is officially complete.
